A Tampa resident struck a southbound motorist from Hialeah on I-75 Sunday night in the vicinity of mile marker 131, Daniel’s Parkway, and sent her automobile careening into a guardrail. The Hileah resident died almost instantly of fatal injuries at the scene.
Police approximate that the Tampa resident, one Sandy Keenan Sallee-Green, had been driving southbound on I-75 at about 100 miles per hour when she ran into the other motorist. That person’s name was not released until family could be notified of the car accident.
Although no final BAC test results had been announced to the media as of this writing, alcohol is presumed to be a factor in this serious accident.
