A woman was out walking on an overpass for the Florida Turnpike in Pompano Beach when she was struck by a car. She fell onto the freeway and was hit by another car. The pedestrian accident happened on Saturday morning.
The impact sent the woman over a barrier wall and onto the inside northbound lane of the Turnpike where she was struck again by another car.
Neither motorist stopped, the report said. The unidentified woman’s body was found face down on the road.
The woman was killed. She is believed to be around 30-years-old. Neither car stopped at the scene. The police are investigating and trying to find the drivers of both vehicles.
