A 29-year-old married father of two children died after leaving his car to help at the scene of an accident in Tampa on Interstate 75. The car accident happened early on Sunday morning. He was hit by a car that hit one of the cars from the original accident.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, one driver rear-ended another, causing one of the cars to roll over.
Two other cars pulled over to help, and when one of the drivers got out, he was struck by a car and killed.
The accidents are being investigated and charges are pending against the driver that struck the Good Samaritan. He was prounounced dead at the scene of the accident. The 23-year-old driver that hit him had a long record of driving violations.
