3 men are being held in Hillsborough County Jail after being arrested for staging a car crash. The three are being held on $7,500 bond. This criminal activity has been more common in South Florida where criminals have staged car accidents in order to obtain insurance payments. Hopefully, this will not be part of a growing trend in the Tampa Bay area.
