Infantino LLC is recalling approximately 68,000 toy shape-sorting castles. The plastic rod can loosen during play, allowing the colored beads to slide off the toy, posing a potential choking hazard to children.

The company has received four reports so far of children nearly choking on the beads.

The toy castles being recalled have counting beads, four play figures and many different shapes and letters that fit into holes in the castle. The recall only includes castles with the date codes: 0906, 5349, 6087 and 6132. Toys that have other date codes or no date codes at all are not included in the recall.

The date code can be found stamped on the underside of the blue top and can be seen through the top square shape or top “A” letter openings.

Consumers should take the recalled toys away from small children immediately and contact Infantino for instructions on how to return the toy for a free replacement.
