The first trial concerning tainted Chinese drywall is underway this morning in New Orleans. Many who’ve been affected by the drywall are anxiously awaiting the trial’s outcome since it may provide an indication as to how the thousands of other Chinese drywall lawsuits will be handled. The New Orleans case is part of a nationally consolidated litigation involving more than 2,000 homeowners whose houses were damaged by the drywall.
