In a recent malpractice case I learned during the deposition of the defendant doctor that he prescribed so many dangerous, controlled drugs simultaneously and improperly that a well-qualified expert in pharmacology said their use, as prescribed, was incompatible with survival. The unfortunate patient died of a prescription drug overdose.
