Possible Salmonella contamination is forcing a recall of popular Malt-O-Meal breakfast cereal. The cereal recall involves the puffed rice varieties made by Malt-O-Meal.
Salmonella poisoning can cause illness that includes vomitting, diarrhea, and fever. No injuries have been reported from eating or handling the cereal. If you purchased the recalled cereal you may return it to the store you purchased it from for a full refund.
